Flagship Niagara
Flag: USA
Rig: Brig
Homeport: Erie, Pennsylvania
Normal Cruising Waters: Great Lakes and connecting waters
Sparred length: 198’
Hull: wood

The Flagship Niagara is one of the most historically authentic tall ships in the United States and an accurate reproduction of Commodore Perry’s victorious flagship from the War of 1812’s Battle of Lake Erie. She offers three educational programs to the public: educational day sails, an individual trainee program, and for-credit high school and college programs. All students and trainees receive an authentic onboard living experience from sleeping on hammocks to meals cooked off of a woodstove.
