Pride of Baltimore II is a reproduction of an 1812-era Baltimore-built topsail schooner. Owned and operated by a non-profit, Pride of Baltimore II’s mission is to promote Maryland’s importance to U.S. and maritime history, in particular the War of 1812 and the penning of “The Star-Spangled Banner” during the 1814 Battle at Fort McHenry. Pride of Baltimore II also serves as a visual representative of entrepreneurship in every port she visits. Pride of Baltimore II maintains an international sailing schedule with a crew of eleven and two rotating professional captains.
