Step right up, boys and girls, for the only circus where kids run the show! At Circus Zirkus, you can swing on the flying trapeze, perform in center ring, tumble, juggle, spin and more. Whether you crave an audience, prefer being behind the scenes or just love clowning around, this circus offers kids much more than a front-row seat!
The Laugh Shack
August 1 – September 1
Hone your funny bone and get seriously silly at the Laugh Shack, Chicago Children’s Museum’s comedy club just for kids! Hit the stage and showcase your best bits! Use cue cards, joke lists and props (even rubber chickens) as inspiration to get the crowd roaring with laughter. Maybe you’re more of a prankster. Toss a whoopee cushion on an unsuspecting caregiver’s chair or throw some fake vomit on the floor next to your baby brother’s booster seat in the Snack Spot! Do you prefer a challenge? Put your silly skills to the test in the Make Me Laugh booth. Whatever your sense of humor, the Laugh Shack has all the tools you need to keep your family—and yourself—in stitches!
