Want world-class fun? Splash, climb, build, learn and explore at the award-winning Chicago Children's Museum, located at Chicago's famous Navy Pier. It's three floors of fun for children (ages 10 and under) and families! Climb on a ship, hide in a treehouse, construct a building, invent a flying machine, dam up a river, drive a firetruck, make art to take home, and so much more. Hours of Operation
CCM is open every holiday except Thanksgiving and Christmas days.
Daily: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Thursdays: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Open Sunday and Friday at 9 a.m. for CCM members

General admission: $14
Seniors (ages 60 and older): $13
Members and children under 1: Free

Kraft Free Family Night
Thursday evenings, 5 – 8 p.m.

The ever-changing Forts exhibit is the perfect place for pretend stakeout areas and secret society meetings. Everything you need to make a wacky, sprawling, unique space that’s all your own. (At least until the next kid comes along!) You can’t build these forts at home!





Bubbles: WaterWays Goes Pop!
Open April 1-30
You’ll be up to your elbows in sudsy shenanigans when WaterWays, our most popular exhibit, transforms into a full-blown bubble extravaganza that’s good clean fun for the whole family!

Get bombarded by cascading bubbles. Become enveloped in a full-body bubble. Create colossal bubbles with specially-designed wands. Sculpt frothy landscapes and funky hairstyles from foamy suds. Poke your arms through magical bubbly walls and more!

Don’t miss this incredibubble experience! Bubbles is open April 1-30.



Be 10 Again
Friday, April 25
6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Remember being 10? There was always something new to learn. Here’s your invitation to Be 10 Again at the best place in Chicago to be a kid: Chicago Children’s Museum. This month, create a box in the Tinkering Lab to transform into a jewelry box, birdhouse or piggy bank. We’ll provide the wood, tools and snacks, you bring the creativity and beer or wine. $25 per person includes all materials and snacks. Click here to register. Save the date!
