Make memories at Navy Pier this holiday season. This year’s festivities are set to be bigger and better than ever during our Fifth Third Bank Centennial Celebration.
Kick off the holiday season on November 30 with a new tradition. For the first time ever Navy Pier will host a holiday tree lighting ceremony and a special visit from Santa in Polk Bros Park. With caroling, live entertainment and plenty of holiday magic, this event is a sure hit for all.
On December 3, witness thousands of Santas dashing, dancing, and prancing along a lakefront course full of candy, cookies, and all of your favorite holiday imagery. We’re looking forward to hosting the post-race festivities full of food and drink specials from a variety of partners.
Experience the best of the season at the 16th Annual Fifth Third Bank Winter WonderFest through January 8. Featuring photo opportunities, rides, the Chicago Blackhawks indoor skating rink and more, the Fest offers fun for the whole family.
Various Chicago musical groups will perform in Polk Bros Park on Saturday December 3, 10, and 17 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m during Jingle Jamz. The green gateway to the Pier will feature various commended groups like the Wicker Park Choral Singers, Soul Children of Chicago, and Chicago Gay Men’s Chorus.
Warm up with the flavors of Chicago when you visit the pier. Help us welcome neighborhood favorites like Brown Sugar Bakery and DMK Burger Bar or revel in classics such as Billy Goat Tavern, Harry Caray’s, Riva Crabhouse or Garrett Popcorn. Food court classics like McDonald’s are on site as well.
Navy Pier is also the home of destinations like the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, the Driehaus Gallery of Stained Glass, an AMC IMAX Theatre, and the Chicago Children’s Museum. With several fun holiday activities for the little ones, the Chicago Children’s Museum is a great destination to beat the winter blues.
The Centennial Wheel is of course, our pièce de résistance. Savor the sights of the city day or night from the comfort of our climate-controlled gondolas. Illinois residents can take advantage of discounted Centennial Wheel tickets and reduced parking fees through the winter.
