ASICS Volleyball Championship | Navy Pier

June 12, 2013

Get ready for a volleyball takeover at the Pier! From June 14-18, 448 junior volleyball teams are looking to bump, set, and spike their way to victory at the ASICS Junior National Championship, the oldest running mega volleyball event in the nation currently in its 38th year!

Both junior boys and girls teams, ages 12-18, will compete in the ASICS Championship. For some, this tournament is the culmination of the eight-month junior season. For others, it is a pre-national warm-up. Either way, there will be a lot of great, national-caliber games going on that you, the general public, can enjoy!

So join us in Navy Pier’s Festival Hall A and B from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily where 28 courts featuring 28 matches will definitely keep you busy. For more detailed information on the ASICS Junior National Volleyball Championship and tickets and to see an informational booklet, click here.

And if you’re headed to Navy Pier, don’t forget that you’ll also be visiting Chicago’s number one attraction! With everything from dining to shopping to movies and rides, the Pier has all the ingredients necessary for a perfect weekend.

Kids will love Pier Park! Take a ride on our 150-foot-high Ferris wheel or challenge the family to a round of golf on our 18-hole miniature golf course! And for some fun out of the sun, Navy Pier IMAX is sure to have all of the latest blockbusters playing!

Hungry? Not a problem! If there’s one thing that the Pier has covered, it’s dining options. Burgers? Check. Pasta? Check. Seafood? Check. Ice Cream, Chinese, Pizza, popcorn… you guessed it – CHECK! No matter what you’re craving, the Pier has got it! For a full list of dining options, click here.

We hope everyone has an awesome time at the Pier and to all of those competing, good luck!
