Celebrate the Season at Swing Into Spring

photoAfter a long and brutal Windy City winter, there’s no better place to “Swing Into Spring than historic Navy Pier! Bring the whole family to Chicago’s lakefront playground April 11 through the 20th to kick off the spring season and extend the Easter celebrations all week long.

Get dressed in your Easter best and come pose for photos with our very own Easter Bunny! The Family Pavilion will turn into a spring wonderland for fantastic photo ops every day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Give your little ones the chance to meet the rabbit of the hour and take photo keepsakes you can cherish for Easters to come!

Then meet and greet live animals from the Brookfield Zoo; PAWS Chicago, the city’s largest No Kill humane organization; and the Anti-Cruelty Society April 14 – 18 from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. These animals sure could use a lot of love!

Plus, if the weather is nice, you can even enjoy $1 rides on the Wave Swinger in Pier Park! The Wave Swinger will officially open for the season on the first day of Swing Into Spring, April 11, and rides will be discounted to just $1 all week long for Swing Into Spring! What better way to welcome the warmer weather?

Make a day out of it and visit other Pier favorites such as the Build-A-Bear Workshop, where you can bring your customized Teddy Bear to life; the iCandy Sugar Shop, complete with jaw breakers, gummy bears, and more; and the Funky Chameleon, selling the coolest nail polish and hair accessories.

Hungry? Whether you’re a food court fan or a fine-dining foodie, you can fill up at one of Navy Pier’s many restaurants. A full list of dining options can be viewed on the website. With more than 50 acres of parks, shops, and attractions, you’ll have plenty to do all day!
