The Fear(less) Haunted House at Navy Pier

October 13, 2013

We know The Fear Haunted House is scary. We’ve been in it and we had nightmares! Of course, we didn’t want families to feel too scared to join in on the Halloween activities, which is why THE FEAR(less) is the lights-on, family friendly version of our haunted house!

If you have kids that love to get spooked but you know they’ll have nightmares, just bring them down tomorrow on Columbus Day from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. or any Saturday or Sunday in October during the same time and let them enjoy the toned down frights! It’s still the same award-winning haunted house everyone’s been talking about, so bring the kids to see some ghastly ghouls and look at the other captured monsters!

If you’re planning a visit with the whole family, keep in mind that when yo
u buy a bundle of 5 tickets you also receive a parking pass valid for the entire day at the Navy Pier garages. You can pick up tickets, including the parking bundle, at The Fear website. Turn a trip to the haunted house into a whole day at Navy Pier by adding on a movie at IMAX and dinner at one of our many restaurants!

Better yet, make it a day full of Halloween activities by joining us at the Pier on Saturday, October 26 when we will be hosting a costume contest starting at 3 p.m. for children under 17 and another one at 7 p.m. for adults 18 and over. After the costume contest, grab a hot chocolate and take the family outside to enjoy the Halloween fireworks at 9:30 p.m.! Listen to the sounds of the Zombie Zydeco band or be amazed at the glow and fire spinners you’ll see roaming outside on Dock Street. As you can see, it’s a great day to have a day-long Halloween adventure with the whole family!

Plus, kids in costume ages 12 and under are welcome to Trick-or-treat at Navy Pier from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on October 26, 27 and 31.

Find all the fun Halloween activities we have planned right on our website and join us anytime between now and the 31st for your best Halloween yet! Don’t forget, we’re open tomorrow from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. for special Columbus Day spooks!
