Get Ready for Skyfall! | Navy Pier IMAX Theatre

October 26, 2012

You’ve seen him investigate murder in Jamaica, battle underwater aboard an American submarine, meet with Russian Mafia members in St. Petersburg, escape capture in Saigon, and this is only a small part of his story.

Who are we talking about?

The one and only James Bond, of course!

And soon the wait will be over for James Bond fans when the next movie installment opens in theaters across the country. Have you been counting down the days until the big Skyfall debut? We at the Pier sure have been!

We have some exciting news for you about the movie’s debut! Because a character like James Bond was made to be seen on the Navy Pier IMAX Theatre’s jumbo six-story screen, Skyfall is opening one day early at the Pier!

Other movie theaters will make you wait until November 9, but the IMAX Theatre at Navy Pier has a special showing set up for you at 12:07 a.m. on November 8!

Not much has been leaked about the new film, but what we do know is that Bond (Daniel Craig) and M’s (Judi Dench) relationship is tested as something from M’s past comes to light. Bond is sent out to remove the threat, but his assignment goes wrong, compromising the entire agency. With M’s authority in a precarious place, it’s up to Bond, yet again, to make things right.

Get your tickets today for the Skyfall IMAX Experience and watch Agent 007 take down bad guys, make brazen escapes, travel across the globe from London to the South China Sea, and perhaps break a few hearts in the process!

Tickets are available online for Navy Pier IMAX Theatre’s opening night show at 12:07 a.m.; buy them here. Tickets for other Skyfall film screenings will be available soon.
