It’s the Last Weekend of Winter WonderFest at Navy Pier!

January 4, 2013

It’s almost hard to believe, but we’ve come to the end of our 12th annual Winter WonderFest at Navy Pier presented by Bank of America celebration!

Today, Saturday, and Sunday are the last three days visitors will be able to enjoy all the rides, attractions, music, food, and fun at Winter WonderFest so if you haven’t joined us yet or were planning on bringing the family back for another visit, act fast or you might miss your three day window!

All the best Winter WonderFest rides are open for business like the Cliff Hanger which sweeps visitors up into the rafters of Festival Hall at heights of 40 feet, the Kringle Carousel with its beautifully painted animals, the Snowy Summit Climbing Wall for those daring enough to try their luck at making it to the top of the wall, and every kids’ new favorite, Zero Gravity, the crazy spinning ride that gets going so fast that its riders are lifted and spun at an angle of 45-degrees (this ride was made exclusively for the brave and strong-stomached).

If you’re coming with small children, we haven’t forgotten about them! They’ll love our Winter WonderFest Jr. area made for children under 46”! You’ll have a hard time getting them out of the Gumball Bouncer, Snowball Blitz, and Tinsel Tunnels!

And everybody in the family will love taking a turn on the Arctic Ice Skating Rink—if you buy a Premium Wristband, the ice skating is included in the price of admission!

You must take a stroll through the Winter WonderTown right next to the ice skating rink! You never know what colorful characters you may meet in the Town! And make sure you stop by the Winter WonderStage! All day long, it will be filled with a variety of acts, and tonight and Saturday night, you can catch the very last of our Weekend Bands!

Friday, January 4, from 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.: The Congregation

Saturday, January 5, from 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.: Diving for Dynamite

Winter WonderFest is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. today and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday!
