Happy Craft Beer Week! The 5th annual Chicago Craft Beer Week kicked off last Thursday, May 15, and craft beer lovers of Chicago have been celebrating all week long by sampling as many brews as possible in more than 300 participating venues around the city. The goal of the festival is to highlight the quantity and caliber of local craft beer while honoring those who work hard behind the scenes to keep our beer community thriving.

Considering how popular craft beer has become in recent years, with local independent brewers and brewpubs popping up everywhere, we’re willing to bet those 300+ venues might get a little crowded this week, so we have the perfect solution for you: Celebrate Craft Beer Week on a boat! That’s right; Mystic Blue is offering a special Chicago Craft Beer Week Cruise, and it’s happening this Thursday, May 22!

You can sit on a bar stool any old day. This Thursday, Join Mystic Blue and Lakeshore Beverage in taking Craft Beer Week out of the bar and onto a boat for a unique drinking experience! Guests will enjoy rare selections from top American craft brewers such as Goose Island, Brooklyn Brewery, Against the Grain, Jolly Pumpkin, Ommegang, Uinta, and more. Samples will be poured by the founders, brewmasters, and other folks behind the breweries themselves, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and acquire exclusive behind-the-scenes info and insight.
