There are so many vantage points to watch the Navy Pier Fireworks from all over the Pier. To take some of the guess work out of planning your next family trip to watch the fireworks before the season ends, we’ve put together this list of our favorite places to watch the Navy Pier Fireworks from.
If you’ve ventured out with the kids tonight, our suggestion for watching the Fireworks at Navy Pier is to catch them from Pier Park, the area surrounding the Ferris wheel, that also features a mini-golf course and other fun family-friendly activities. So work on your short-game with the little ones while you wait or climb into the Ferris wheel and enjoy the skyline as it is expertly lit up by the artistic display of Fireworks at Navy Pier.
If you managed to find a sitter tonight, or there aren’t any little ones tagging along to watch the Fireworks at Navy Pier, then you should indulge in a glass of wine, cocktail or cold beer at the Landshark Beer Garden. With live music before the fireworks go on and a choreographed sound track during the display, you’re guaranteed to be ready to shake a leg and dance the night away at the Landshark Beer Garden at Navy Pier.
Starting Saturdays this fall, through October 29, the Seadog Fireworks Cruise will be departing at 8:30 p.m. with fireworks viewing at 9 p.m. This extended Seadog speedboat cruise also boasts one of the most informed narrated tours on Lake Michigan.
The Seadog’s strategic boat position means one of the very best views of the Navy Pier Fireworks. With every seat offering spectacular open panoramic views of the world famous Chicago skyline, there may not be a better view of such pyrotechnic mastery in all the land…we can’t help but agree!
