Spirit of Chicago’s Santa Lunch Cruise | Navy Pier

December 3, 2012

The busiest guy this time of year is Santa Claus, no surprise there. But even with his crazy schedule, he’s still made time for all his great fans at the Pier! And between his visiting hours at our Family Pavilion, he’s worked in a special two-hour lunch cruise with the Spirit of Chicago! Skip the crazy mall lines and the hustle and bustle of shopping centers and see the jolly man in the red suit out on the water!

Santa’s doing it up right this year and he’s pulled out all the stops, but really what do you expect from the man who travels all the way across the world in one night bringing joy to all the girls and boys? He really knows how to bring the party!

Santa helped pick out the cruise’s on-board entertainment because he’s all about having the best DJ— what can we say, Santa really loves to cut a rug! He also hand-picked each of the Spirit of Chicago crew members because he wants every passenger to have the very best time!

Because Mrs. Claus cooks around the clock to keep Santa’s belly from rumbling, the Spirit of Chicago worked very hard to put together their festive buffet. Head up to the buffet table and load up. And don’t be shy about taking seconds or thirds; you know Santa will be close behind!

We even hear that Santa sweet-talked the Spirit of Chicago crew into giving all his biggest fans a really great deal. The cruise costs $39.90 per person and includes two hours out on the water, a fabulous lunch, and tons of great photo ops!

The Santa Lunch Cruise begins boarding at 12:30 p.m. on December 8and cruises from 1:15- 3:15 p.m. before returning to its dock at Navy Pier.
