Spring Ahead at the Chicago Flower & Garden Show; Now Through March 23!

Through Sunday, the Chicago Flower & Garden Show, presented by Mariano’s, will be inspiring, educating and motivating gardeners of all abilities to “Do Green. Do Good.” From kids digging the creepy-crawly bug zoo and make-and-take workshops, to gourmets learning to cook more sustainably with healthy, fresh produce, spring is getting a long-overdue, warm welcome on Navy Pier.

Bring your family and friends to the show and stroll through more than 20 blooming, breathtaking gardens, complete with water features, koi ponds, chicken pens, sustainable solutions and three-season outdoor living spaces. Enroll in a potting party workshop and get answers to your tricky gardening questions. Get great gifts and gadgets in their Marketplace, brimming with the latest garden tools, accessories, bulbs and bouquets. The stroller- and wheelchair-friendly show is a perfect way for all ages to celebrate spring.

More than just flower power, it’s flour power, too! Foodies can watch the frosting and fondant fly on the show’s closing day, Sunday, March 23, when its Garden Gourmet amphitheater  is transformed into Cake Studio, for the annual cake decorating regional finals competition hosted by the Chicago Area Retail Bakers Association (CARBA).
