Our grand winter celebration opened on November 30 and runs through January 6—that’s over five weeks of fun! As we like to say around here – ‘tis the season for too much fun!
If you know anything about Winter WonderFest it’s that we fill our entire Festival Hall with rides, rides, and more rides. There’s rides for the little ones (the Gumball Bouncer, the Arctic Wonder Obstacle Course), the big ones (the Snowy Summit Climbing Wall, Zero Gravity), and everyone in-between (the Reindeer Express Train Ride, the Slippery Snowflake Slide)! And everybody loves the big indoor Arctic Ice Skating Rink!
But that’s not all there is to do at Winter WonderFest! Decorate holiday cookies at the Pepsi® Create-A-Cookie Cottage with sugar and spice and everything nice. Check out all the great Chrysler vehicles on display, like the 2013 Fiat 500, and let the kids loose on the Mini Adventure Track. Take a stroll through our Winter WonderTown, but make sure you keep your holiday cheer up! If Officers Oakley and Oberndorf catch you acting like a Grinch or scrooge, they may just write you a ticket.
The Winter WonderStage will keep you moving and grooving all day long! Magicians, dancers, jugglers, puppeteers, and school groups show off their talents daily. On Mondays, DJs hit the turntable with the hottest dance hits and on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:30-9:30 p.m., Chicago’s favorite bands take to the stage.
Here’s the Winter WonderStage schedule for the remainder of Winter WonderFest:
Friday, December 28: Spoken Four (Pop/Rock)
Saturday, December 29: Ultimate Concept Band (R&B/Soul)
Friday, January 4: The Congregation (Soul)
Saturday, January 5: Driving for Dynamite (Pop/Rock)
In the mood for even more music? Head over to the Family Pavilion Stage for a live brass band performance!
And if you’re looking for the perfect spot to bring your church group or office or extended family, you’ve found it at Winter WonderFest! We have great rates for groups! Find them here.
